Course Overview

This qualification is designed specifically for Emergency Care Assistants (ECAs) and Urgent Care Assistants (UCAs) who are ready to take the next step in their clinical practice.

Delivered at our purpose built Training and Education Centre in Sheffield, our course combines classroom-based learning with supernumerary placements, helping you gain the required hours in a real-world environment.

This course is a mix of 6-weeks of consecutive classroom based learning and 750 hours of practice placement (included). Plus completion of your Practical Assessment Document (PAD).

You will be supported throughout by our industry-leading Paramedic educators with real frontline experience.

• FREC 4 qualification (or equivalent)
• Up-to-date CPD log/portfolio
• Enhanced DBS check
• Evidence of immunisations
